Fushi Kaden, which also the title of his present work has been translated as "Transmission of the Flower of the Art."The term was originally the titela of a 15th Century literary work by Zeami on the classical Japanese theathr of the Noh.
ーThe main reason why Fushi Kaden was borrowed as the title for Suda's present work is because Suda himself is an avid reader of Zeami's original Fushikaden. The Noh and photography are, of course, different modes of expression. Yes, Suda has found much to learn on art in the teachings of Zeami that he also feels may be applied to photography.
